Kennel Velvety

My first contact with the Bedlingtons was in 1973 when I got a female dog with the name Athene and she made me fall in love with this breed. I brought my first brood bitch from kennel Flamengos in Sweden, her name was Intuch Norduch Flamengos Jirina and she was the beginning of my breeding. I had my first litter in 1983 by Jirina and International, Scandinavian and English champion Blå Skuggans Mowie Star and it was a successful combination.

I have exported two dogs to Germany as well as to Norway , Finland and USA. I have also imported two dogs from England, the bitch Kierlander Far and Away, born in 1997, and the male English and Swedish champion Rathsrigg Rollick.

Kennel Velvety has now from own breeding :

31 Swedish Champions
8 American Champions
2 German Champions
1 Italy Champion
and a  lots of CC winners. Normally I have one or two litters a year and it is very important for me to have a good relation to the people who purchase a dog from me. All my breedning stock are tested for copper toxicosis and now they are even DNA-tested.

The kennel have awarded the Swedish Terrier Club´s Medal In Honour of Breeding.
